Carnivorous Plants

When it comes to carnivorous plants, the first thing that comes to most people's minds is the infamous Venus Flytrap. However, the flytrap is but one of hundreds of different species of known carnivorous plants, species found on every continent except Antarctica and in habitats ranging from the Arctic Tundra to tropical rainforests. Chances are, there's a species or two growing within a few hours from where you live!

The following links will open up categories  containing the different genera of carnivores as currently recognized by the author of this site, with basic information on habitat, physical descriptions, general care info, and fun facts for each species. Feel free to send suggestions, revisions (though I try my best to research plants thoroughly I can't always find the most accurate info on every species) and facts of your own to make this Database as thorough and interesting as possible!
