This new pepper variety is an opportunity to get your weird on. Why? Because it's of furry origin! Yes, you read that right: a furry developed this pepper strain, and it's just as colorful and artistic as that fandom is, and not just because of the name they chose for it. Whether sought out for ornamental or edible value, this plant manages both, capable of being grown even in relatively small containers where it will reach around 18 inches tall (likely to exceed a couple feet in a garden bed or large pot). In full sun, the leaves are liable to blush with deep purple (and purportedly variegated individuals are also possible), and brilliant violet star-shaped flowers give rise to shiny blackish-purple fruits that only grow to a couple inches in length, usually conical in shape and slightly curved. Ripe fruits turn mostly to entirely bright red, and are slightly sweet but also pack a punch with what I estimate to be between 15,000-30,000 Scovilles (hot jalapenos reach about 7,000 by comparison). Grown in hot, humid conditions, they may get even hotter!
Packets will contain approx. 30 seeds each.
