A very limited availability as I've only got one fruit's worth of seeds presently; in the right conditions this is a fast-growing and often quite productive variety, producing small to medium sized cream-orange fruits with green stripes that feel quite hard to the touch when ripe...but this also lends to them being able to keep for quite some time. The firm fruit is mildly sweet, best when roasted or put into soups to soften down into a delicate almost buttery texture. And, when the plant isn't fruiting, the male flowers can also be harvested and fried or sauteed as an extra delicacy.
Packets contain approx. 10 seeds each.
