The Common Fishhook Cactus is a small but pretty cactus species from the Mojave and Sonoran deserts, growing to a little under a foot tall and becoming a clumping set of round or cylindrical stems. Stellate tufts of white spines are contrasted by singular rusty red, hook-tipped spines that rise from them, giving the plant its name. Once mature, light pink flowers with yellow centers are produced which give way to slender bright red fruits.
Only 3 seed-grown plants available approx. 1" tall, and will likely not be offered again for years.
