This hybrid is with the likely x californica hybrid threadleaf, "Florida Giant." Plants reach similar dimensions of up to almost 2 inches across as my filiformis floridana version, with the same arching, slender baseball bat-shaped leaves, but tend to remain with a more green color and orange-red tentacles rather than turning solid red. Flowers are the same very large, pale pink as the other version of this cross.
