Still relatively rare in cultivation, this South American sundew forms short stems topped with 1-4 inch rosettes of somewhat strap-shaped leaves, with hairy petioles and long oval-shaped lamina that can be green or blush red in cool, bright conditions. Flower stalks are moderately long, bearing several pink, self-fertile blooms. This is a species that likes it cooler, though tolerates heat a bit better than some of its relatives.
