A very atypical form of the common spoonleaf sundew, highly prone to dividing or budding to make dense colonies of rosettes that average around 1.5 inches across, with fat petioles and broad, almost rounded lamina that makes it look somewhat similar to tokaiensis. However, this plant has more defined separation of lamina and petiole, and more readily flushes rich red under strong light. Flowers are unknown to me, but most likely small and white.
