The spoonleaf sundew is one of the easiest overall species to grow, but less common forms abound that provide very different appearances or more challenge to grow. This is one of them; hailing from the northeast coast of Queensland, the plants grow as flat rosettes of slender wedge-shaped leaves rarely more than an inch in diameter, bright green to solid red under strong light. What they're famous for is the flower stalks: unlike all other forms of spatulata these have very short, EXTREMELY hairy, and compact inflorescences, bearing relatively large, metallic pink blooms. Self-pollinating, though seeds can take some patience to sprout (I've had them take over 5 months at time).
Packets contain approx. 40 seeds each.
