While the natural version of this natural hybrid originated in New Jersey, this version was made with the subtropical filiformis var. floridana, giving it a slightly weaker dormancy requirement and often redder leaves once fully established. Plants average between 2-4 inches tall on maturity, with a spreading erect to semi-erect rosette of almost filiform leaves bearing short petioles and lamina that are ever so slightly wider in the middle, and under full sun can turn almost solid crimson. Flower stalks are relatively short and bear large, pink sterile blooms. Has a habit of dividing or creating bud rosettes around the base of the plant, forming dense colonies in some cases.
Available plants are exiting dormancy and will average between 1.5-3" tall.
