A rare slender-pitchered species from Chimanta Massif, this plant can sometimes exceed a foot tall (though in cultivation often remains around 6-7 inches at full maturity) with almost cylindrial pitchers bearing flared mouths and a finger-shaped nectar spoon at the top. Color tends to be brilliant green with red edges and upper blushing, and a crimson nectar spoon. Very much demanding of cool nights for success, and a slow-growing, patience required plant. Available plants are either immature divisions approx. 1.5-2" tall, or larger semi-mature 2.5 inch tall.
