One of the most sought after variants of this tiny species, plants rarely get more than 4 inches across with squat stocky pitchers that bear elegantly sloping flared mouths and a frequently small rounded nectar spoon on a prominent thin neck. Coloration of this clone tends to be green with red exterior flushing sometimes to solid brick red. As the name suggests, this variety is famed for the dense covering of hairs on the pitcher exterior and longer than normal trap hairs on the interior.
