Originally labeled as nutans but often argued to be a glabra x nutans natural hybrid, this plant can produce pitchers up to 9 inches or so tall with a funnel-shaped lower half and distinct hip that broadens into a flaring funnel above, topped by a distinctive helmet-shaped nectar spoon on a short neck. Full sun or strong light will blush this plant to rich orange-red almost all the way through. Like all marsh pitchers it demands cool temperatures and high humidity, but is a little more warm-tolerant than most.
Available plant is a newly rooted multi-growth point division with new pitchers developing around 5 inches tall.
