The Swamp Pink is a wetland plant native to the Atlantic coastal states, found inland in northern Georgia and the Carolinas along the Appalachians but more coastally northward in New Jersey and neighboring states. Rosettes of broad sword-shaped leaves can reach just over 6 inches in height, from the center of which rises a thick stalk to just over a foot and a half, topped with a spike of feathery pink flowers highlighted with blue anthers. These will grow well alongside Sarracenia and other wetland plants, and are supposedly hardy to zone 5b.
Available plants are seedlings approx. 1.5-2.5" in diameter.
