Only one seedling currently available, 6 inches tall. This species comes from central Asia and is fairly moisture-loving, though can tolerate some drought once established. Leaves are slender lance-shaped and up to almost 2 feet tall; flower stalks are rarely more than a foot, meanwhile, with one to several slenderly built blooms that have spade-shaped, white and violet veined to pale lavender blue falls and more uniformly light violet standards. Very cold-hardy.
