A gorgeous little groundcover that hails from the southern Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal) but is a fair bit hardier than one might expect from that climate. These plants create spreading stems of short almost succulent little leaves that eventually spike upward to 4-8 inches tall, with little multicolor snapdragon-like blooms; once settled a single clump may produce hundreds of flowers at once for an impressive display. Though cold-hardy to zone 5, they readily self-seed and may act like annuals in colder places, and do best in a well-drained location. Seeds may benefit from a short cold stratification but many will sprout simply laid on soil.
Packets contain approx. 30+ seeds each.
