This is in my opinion the most spectacular of the four Palu clones here. Lower leaves are almost round and often heavily ruffled along their edges in good light, growing slender as the plant climbs. Lower pitchers are easily over 8 inches tall at times with a cylindric build and green background marked with deep rust red blotches or mottling. The peristome is moderately sized, slightly crenellated, and ages from green with deep red stripes to chocolate brown with black stripes. Upper pitchers are around 6 inches tall and slender, almost cylindric or narrowly funnel shaped, and pure green outside but heavily mottled purple inside; the peristome remains almost always bright green with pinstripe red markings.
