Amazingly originally received as a happenstance abandoned plant at the end of a greenhouse open house, this steady grower has turned out to be quite the showoff! Lower pitchers are relatively simple and cylindric with a moderately broad peristome, taking heavily after the mother plant, but uppers steal the show: graceful funnel shape mottled with lime green and deep red with a broad, heavily ruffled, and spectacularly striped peristome sloping up into a really heavily pronounced neck, high contrast and also seemingly quite long-lasting traps. They may not get very large, maxing out it appears at around 6 inches tall, but the plant hangs onto a lot of them at a time.
Available plants are newly rooted cuttings, with new growth between 2-4 inches in diameter.
