A spectacular if somewhat touchy species from Mindanao, with thick slightly fuzzy ovular leaves and pitchers that could potentially reach over a foot tall (though usually 4-6 inches in my care) with a slightly hourglass shape and light and dark red mottled pattern, a thick slightly ruffled peristome with fairly pronounced ribs and striping in shades of red and orange, and pale purple-spotted interior. Upper pitchers are similar but with a more elongate upper section and pronounced flared peristome.
Currently 2 rooted cuttings available, just developing new above-ground growth.
