If you like plants that are brilliantly green and elegant, this one is for you. Leaves can be more than 16 inches long and are fairly broad; lower pitchers can be over 8 inches tall and are stocky, cylindrical, with a smooth slightly crenellated peristome that's usually some shade of yellowish, sometimes with hints of singular red stripes above a body with sparse red blotching. Upper pitchers are larger, less mottled, and funnel-shaped with a distinctive neck and a much broader, somewhat flared peristome that remains bright greenish-yellow, nearly chartreuse.
