While plants have been offered previously (and are still available), now seeds are also available to try your hand at if preferred!
Critically endangered in the wild, this petunia exists in a population less than 14-strong, threatened by habitat loss and hybridization. Plants produce fairly large, ovular leaves covered in tiny sticky hairs on a scrambling bushy habit up to 2 feet tall/wide, and are the ONLY naturally-occurring red species in the genus, once mature producing tubular flowers about 2 inches long and wide with a green base and orange-scarlet to rich ruby red faces. Highly attractive to hummingbirds, tentatively perennial in zones 9 and warmer (annual elsewhere).
Packets contain approx. 50+ seeds each.
