The Staghorn Fern is an Indo-Australian native, an epiphyte that forms gigantic clasping sheet fronds that grab onto tree trunks and cliff faces gathering moisture and debris, and stretching to over 30 inches across. From the center of these sheets also form branching fuzzy fronds up to 18 inches long that give the plant its name, and makes it look like two completely different organisms growing together. Best mounted on a tree fern panel or atop a hanging net or wire basket full of loose media, where it can remain fairly dry and spread its fronds in all directions.
One division available, approx. 4 inches across.
