With a little bit of mystery in the parentage but a whole lot of color, this vigorous plant will likely eventually exceed 18 inches tall, and produces stout trumpet traps with a neatly arching lid whose sides flare out and upward in a nice curving appearance. Pitchers grow more red the closer to the top you look, and at the height of color (high heat can drain it a bit) are topped in brick-crimson red dotted in lighter pinkish areoles and sometimes deeper red veins in the tube and especially with a darker slash right down the middle of the throat.
Available plants are medium mostly single growth-point divisions.
