A closely related species to the more common venosum "Voodoo lily," this aroid produces large arrowhead-shaped leaves up to a foot or more in length, and once mature will also in spring sport a chunky foot-tall tubular inflorescence with a hooded deep maroon spathe and a thin darker spadix sticking out of the opening. Summer grower and winter dormant, expects fully dry conditions in winter.
Available tubers are offsets approx. 1-1.5" in length (smaller diameter).
