The Japanese White Dandelion may not look particularly snazzy at first glance -and, the fact that it's a dandelion might make people balk at buying one- but they can make lovely rich green groundcovers with rosettes of slender serrated leaves up to a foot across, and they tend not to have the same spreading capacity as the common European yellow species (though they are equally as edible!). Their show comes when they make the short stalks topped with brilliantly white starburst blooms blushed with pale yellow in the center.
Available plants are seed-grown approximately 5-7 inches in diameter; extremely limited.
