With seeds needing no special treatment to germinate, this somewhat more attractive relative of the common dandelion develops the same fleshy, bitter edible serrated leaf rosettes pressed flat against the ground, but sports short stalks bearing brilliant cream-white rather than yellow blooms, and is also quite a bit less prone to establishing in lawns and gardens unless purposefully put there. They will happily overwinter outdoors even in cold climates, and once blooming has passed and seeds develop you can also enjoy the thick roots roasted. Packets contain approx. 30+ seeds each.
